I wanted to address the changes regarding the proposed constitution revisions we are to be voting on at the October meeting. But after talking to Bob Lannin via chat, I do not think that is fully possible.
The first issue is that Bob Lannin stated to me, that the "ballots" that were in the August news letter are NOT actually ballots and only ballots that are requested FROM HIM are official ballots. He stated that the entire statement in the newsletter stating to mail them into Dave David Kurth was incorrect...
The second issue is the first proposal, that was submitted by Mike Cohen had the wrong wording. The primary point that Mike Cohen wanted to have changed was the sending of official ballots to ALL members, without the need to be requested. This part was omitted in the news letter version of his proposal. (on the non ballot/ballot part of it at least)
I asked Bob Lannin for the official ballots so I can post them here. He said no. He stated he will have Dave Kurth address this.
