I am not sure what caused this, but the website generated a bunch of cached files and one of them was the home page for our site https://wiscbmwclub.com. This Cached page was from March, meaning all sorts of stuff that was supposed to be on the home page was not for some (many?) people for quite a while
Thanks to Doug Twing for pointing this out and allowing me to look into it. I deleted the offending files, and now it looks like the site is performing as it should be again.
if any of you see anything that looks odd (in this case it was showing past events in "events section" of the main page) PLEASE let me know.
