I was just able to tweak the code slightly here. The pictures you upload are now showing up, instead of a link.. just a little bit nicer that way 🙂

This there any way to have a forum 'snapshot' showing any recently updated threads on the main page?

I am not sure if this is what you are asking, but if there is a topic that has messages that are unread. They show as bold. I will see if I can make it more noticable.
