SUMMARY:July 4th Ride to Boscobel
DESCRIPTION:This is the 13th year for my ride to Boscobel for breakfast. This all started as something to do on my day off work for the 4th. Since the Unique Café is no longer open on the 4th\, this year’s ride will be stopping at the Old 61 Diner just down the road from the Unique Café. The meeting location is the BP station in Palmyra at 6am with a 6:15am departure. We will follow country roads 150 miles to Boscobel with a stop after about 80 miles for a quick break at the Sunoco in Hollandale. We will arrive at the Old 61 Diner just before 10am for breakfast. After breakfast everyone can take their own route home or you are welcome to follow me. Total miles for the day will be a bit over 300 miles. DESCRIPTION:Since the “Last Bike Night” at LDs was cancelled due to heat/storms. Leon was able to reschedule to September 24th. All the other details will be the same. We will be meeting at the Kwik Trip on Hwy 83 in Delafiled (Just south of the freeway) around 4:15pm there will be a riders meeting at 4:30 and Kick Stands up at 5:00 for an arrival at LDs in East Troy around 6:15-6:30. \nAttempting to get some rides in for prospective members\, and give the rest of us a just another reason to throw a leg over. \n \nThis ride will be leaving from the Kwik Trip on Hwy 83 in Delafield\, and Heading south in a round-about fashion to get down to East Troy for the last of the 2024 “LDs Bike Night Concert series” \nWe will be meeting at Kwik Trip at 4:15 (safety meeting at 4:30) on Tuesday\, August 27th.  Kick stands up about 5pm. \nThis is a short\, leisurely ride of about 50 miles in 1:15 or so. The concert starts at 6pm \nThere is not much seating there\, so if you are interested in sitting\, please bring a chair. There is however\, REALLY GOOD BBQ so bring your appetite! \nSince this is an outdoor event\, it is weather dependent. Please check back here\, or our facebook  group for further details. \nThis is an official “open” club ride. This ride is open to all makes and model motorcycles. SUMMARY:Lake Superior ADV Fest Sept 12th - 15th
DESCRIPTION:Join your off-road and paved riding mates for 4 days of perfect northern Great Lakes motorcycling adventures. \nOver the September 12th-15th end of summer block\, motorcyclists will head out in various groups to hit the stunning Forest Service Roads beginning from our Wakefield (western U.P. MI) \nbasecamp\, and asphalt riders will cut it up on the perfect paved riding in a (roughly) 150mi arc around our resort.. from Lake Superior shoreline rides to the deep woods county highways of northern Wisconsin. \nHighlights for any given ride might include Copper Harbor and Brockway Mtn\, the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness area\, Bayfield\, and The Apostle Islands\, perhaps as far off as Pictured Rocks Lakeshore near Munising\, MI. \nOur guest GS/ADV riders have shared that the off-road riding around these parts is singular–stunning\, great surface\, narrow\, winding two-track forest roads–always easy\, never boring thanks to the pristine forestscapes. \nThe $60 event fee (per person) will include two casual cook-out dinners on Fri and Sat night\, then morning coffee and a light bite.  Our resort team will have paper and electronic routes and maps\, along with must-see stops\, good dining options\, gas stops\, and the like.  Ride leaders will bring years of inside\, local knowledge to the rides each day–both paved and backcountry.
