DESCRIPTION:The Steel Shoe is being run on Lake Winnebago Sunday\, January 26th at noon. Launching point is Sunset on the Water Grill and Bar\nFacebook page for Steel Shoe. \nMeet at Casa Johnson – N5552 Rademann Drive\, Fond du Lac\, WI at 11:00-11:15 and we can consolidate vehicles and coolers. Let me know if you intend to attend so we can have a head count. \nIn years past\, there has been a minimal cost to watch (yeah\, you could just walk out onto the ice and watch\, but this is a fund raiser for injured riders). I haven’t attended this race since it has moved to Sunset\, so I’m not sure. \nI went out to the venue after the installation dinner and it is clear ice.
