A 50% tariff on steel and aluminum accounted for roughly $31 million of the total cost. Harley-Davidson is taking steps to mitigate the financial impact of the tariffs. ( I suspect part of that will be job cuts and price increases )

According to BMW, they delivered 202,563 motorcycles to customers worldwide in 2025. BMW sold more bikes in 2024 (210,408 delivered worldwide) and 2023 (209,257 delivered to customers worldwide), and both of those years broke previous records. But despite the slight slide in numbers over 2025, BMW seemed positive about their progress, especially since they set new all-time records in several individual markets:

He was a member of our WI Club for 27 years (1996 -2023)
