When I got up Saturday morning, the sun was shining and the road was dry. The TV weather report states that the majority of the rain has moved out over the lake. I am ready to ride. The further north I got, the darker the sky became and the drizzle began. As I headed east on Cty G toward Wales I thought I was seeing things as several roofs were white. Snow? Not only was it on the roofs and in the yards, there were spots where there was slush on the road. I made my way to the meeting location only to think I should have stopped to take pictures as nobody will believe me. Well thanks to all of the riders who did not show, by 9:15 I was headed for home, alone. Even with the rain, the snow is still here. I took the attached picture on my way home. As I crossed into Walworth County the roads were again dry. I extended my ride to cover some of the planned route and then headed home to the man cave to watch the Badgers while cleaning the bike.

I had to ride to 11,300 feet in the Rockies today to see snow. To think I could've stayed home to see snow? Priceless.
