I don't believe anyone has stepped up to be the July ride captain yet so I guess I will volunteer. I am going to continue my 4th of July tradition by riding to the Unique Café in Boscobel for breakfast. I always go on my day off from work so this year it actually falls on Monday the 4th. I will be leaving the BP in Palmyra at 6am as we did last year. After breakfast I will ride up to Soldiers Grove and then back home. Plan on a 400 mile day. I am going to try and eliminate the few gravel roads that I normally travel so I don't scare anybody off.

The second ride will be after the national. I am looking at a Saturday afternoon ride July 23. Departure time and location to be determined and we will end at Gus's in East Troy where we can check out the cruise cars. Stay tuned for further details.

Well I went for a pre-ride Saturday to eliminate the gravel roads from my Boscobel route. The route there will be about 150 miles with a bio-break/gas stop at about the half way point. See you on the 4th.
